Back on track with Vol 8 .This is a really great DVD with some really cool Full Meet video from The Metal Militia Full Power Wars, the big summer meet for the Metal Militia made for some great lifting video. Lots of great lifting by girls and some big benches put up by the men. Also on this DVD:
• Video from the Metal Militia World Bench Wars, one of the biggest bench meets in the world.
• Lots of 600+ benches and some 700+ and 800+.
• USAPL lifters EC Stumpf and Sean Culnan go thru a bench training day at the Metal Militia Training Compound along with EC's soon to be wife Maria who is benching 225+ in the 123s.
• Sebastian Burns goes thru a Metal Militia Raw bench day and shows some exercises to help the bench press.
Special on this DVD is some old video I shot a few years ago at Nazareth Barbell Training with a bunch of cool people. I just finished underground strength Vol 6 and it is definitely one of the best. This Vol has lots of vid from My trip to the Arnold. I got some really great shots from both days and some real cool shots of the Bench Only from right on stage and the heavyweight powerlifting. For the training segment Cassy Seymour shows how she uses bands to train the deadlift lockout. If you have trouble locking out deads this is a great workout for you .Also Carl Seekers Beast of the North East BP/DL This meet is in it’s 20th year and it was a real great time had by all along with some great lifting. A special guest lifter on this Vol is Katrina Murancanova (Metal Militia Slovakian Chapter) 165lb WPC world champion in the Bench press.This girl is an amazing lifter from Slovakia who has come to the home of the Metal Militia to learn the bench secrets of the Metal Militia. Her Brother Ron Daly Jr. who is benching close to 400 at 14 years old, along with the rest of the Muscleworks Crew. They take us thru their High Volume workout. The 3rd volume of THE UNDERGROUND STRENGTH MAGAZINE -
This is a real cool DVD!! This new volume features some training video, training articles, and a real cool deadlift workout with Hank Sargent , one of the best deadlifters in the world in the 275lb class. Hank shows some of his technique along with some interesting points on the deadlift. There is also some bench training footage from Adirondack Barbell (Home Of the Metal Militia).
I show how we use bands in our training, along with some great meet footage from The APF Mark Rexroad Memorial Powerlifting meet. Thanks to Albany Strength who invited me down to cover their gym meet, I got some good video from that as well. If you enjoyed the first and second volumes, then this one will fit right in. I have watched it about 10 times in the last 2 days and I get jacked to lift every time.
